What says ‘Hello Spring!’  better than blooms on branches!?? They are a visual that talks straight to our souls: the airy, and feathery bursts of colour speak to every age, and everyone. They shout ” Be Happy- the sun is coming! The sun is really coming!” Whether the branches are fuzzy Pussy Willows or punchy Gold Forsythia blooms – I swear WE ALL ‘GET IT’ when it comes to branches.

Style wise- Branches can look fabulous in any setting. So if you are Minimalist or if your style is Traditional, branches will work for you. They really look smashing when starring on their own in any vessel: be it 1 branch or 30 stems grouped together (I would opt for 30) If you go for the solo branch look, chose a really tall one and pair it with a container that can handle it.

BELLA’S HINT: just group 1 type of branch only. For a gorgeous display – in your dining room, foyer, sidebar- use an oversized vase, and commit to only 1 tree/bush- chose magnolia, apricot, willow or forsythia- per vase. Here I do recommend you go big; be abundant, be over the top- pick up as many branches as you can, and as tall as your room can handle and ambush that vase!

So, is it a surprise? THIS WEEK’S FLORAL FETISH is Apricot Branches. Yup- we have a bundle of them in a large vase, ready for sale. The blooms are just starting to burst through the stems! Lovely. I say celebrate the 1st day of Spring with blooming branches!
